What’s Builder Gel?

Builder Gel is perfect for creating strong overlays and is a great strengthening barrier for the natural nail. It’s thicker than standard gel and a lot more hard wearing. If you are someone who likes the strength of acrylic but hates the smell, you will love Builder Gel.

How long will my nails last?

With proper care, your Manicure i will last 3-4 weeks. Leaving a follow up appointment any longer than 4 weeks is not advised. As your nails grow, the pressure put on the tip of your nails from your previous mani can cause damage to your natural nails, resulting in lifting and cracking. It’s super important to book regular manicures to maintain the health of your nails. It all comes down to how fast they grow and how well you look after them, you can find after care here.

Why do I need to use cuticle oil?

Cuticle oil is the holy grail of the nail world. It keeps your nails strong and hydrated. It also keeps the skin surrounding your nails healthy and free from skin tags!

When your nails get dry from lack of oil and too much hand washing, your natural nail curls away from your Gel. That leaves areas of lifting where moisture, dirt, food, makeup and bacteria can enter and possibly give you a nail infection.

If you don’t keep up with cuticle oil or follow aftercare advice, your services will cost more as I will need to spend more time fixing and prepping your nails.

So don’t skimp out on the oil!
